Our goal is to empower the youths with new skills which will enable them to make appropriate choices and decisions, making accountability a requirement rather than an option, and to advocate for each youth’s future well-being and best interests.

The mission of First Step First Love is to serve children, youths, and families through a loving, caring, and safe Christian environment. We believe prevention and early intervention are crucial elements in the solution for at-risks juveniles. We believe in treating each youth and family with respect

First Step First Love was created to serve male youths of all races, religions, and creeds. Boys with behavioral problems are placed in the program by the Kansas Department for Children and Families, Juvenile Services, Kansas Department of Corrections, and other states or privately.
First Step First Love Residential offers therapeutic services in a 24/7 supervised facility for children and teenagers with acute emotional and behavioral problems. It is based on each child’s unique needs and utilizes a combination of therapeutic services, including individual, group, and family therapy, mental health services, and medical services.
